Description: Shooting Camp is designed to focus on one of the most important skilsl in basketball which is shooting. You will learn the proper mechanics of shooting through repetition of a wide range of drills in a positive and fun environment. Individual and team games and contests will vary throughout the camp to improve shooting accuracy and range. Each player will learn the nuances of shooting and positioning from all areas of the court. The five player positions will be broken down in a way that each player will benefit from learning what is required to excel in each position. This camp is a must for any players looking to improve their skill of shooting and learning the unique skills required to play different positions on the floor.
Camp Details
Who: Girls & Boys - Ages 9-15
Total Campers: 40 Maximum
When: August 1-5, 2011 - There will be camp on the holiday Monday!
Time: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Location: Mother Teresa H.S.
Directions: Mother Teresa H.S. Go north on Adelaide St., past Fanshawe Park Rd. Turn right onto Sunningdale Rd. The school is on your right hand side. Park at the east side of the building. Go to gyms on the home page for a map.
Cost: $205.00 add $10 if you require a Ramblers ball. (HST included)
Before & After Care: $20.00 for the week. Starts at 8:00 am pick up by 4:30 pm.
Family Discount: $20 off per additional child from same family.

First Day: Campers are to wear t-shirt, shorts and indoor shoes. Each camper is also required to bring their own ball. Please make sure it is labelled with the campers name.
Food/Beverages: Campers are required to bring enough food and drinks for 2 snack breaks and 1 lunch break. This is a nut free camp, so please do not send nut products in their lunches.
Sign In/Sign Out: All campers are required to have a parent or guardian sign them in and out of the gym each day. Campers will not be released from the gym unless a parent or guardian comes in to retrieve them. This is done only for the safety of the campers.
Leaving the Building: Campers will not be allowed to leave the building for lunch or anytime throughout the day unless there is a written note given to the camp director by a parent or guaradian the day of.
Personel Items: Please do not bring personel items to camp such as ipods, phones, jewellery etc. Ramblers will not be held responsible should these itesm get lost or stolen.
Registration: To register for one of our programs please print off a Registration Form and mail it in with payment.
Completion: Upon successful completion of the registration, all participants will be e-mailed a receipt for tax purposes and are accepted to the program. They will begin on the start date unless notified by London Ramblers Basketball. You will not be e-mailed or called to remind you.
